I'm loving my little Chicago life

I am staying in the Unkranian Village neighborhood with my host, artist Layne Jackson, who is so lovely by the way! (above: a tiny painting by Layne, at home in the foyer)

I pass three community gardens on my street on my short walk to the studio.

My studio is on the third floor at Space Division, a charming collection of artist studios located above a lumber company.

I make simple dinners at home in the evenings.
