Studio-in-a-Suitcase: Chicago

Welcome to my Studio-in-a-Suitcase experiment. 2 weeks. one suitcase full of supplies. I'll show you how.
First few hours after arrival:

The suitcase all packed.

The unpacking begins. That's a stack of about 15 precut pieces of canvas, ready to stretch onto the wooden frames. (3 sizes)
I lay out the canvas, the frame and then staple.

Then gesso.

Three done before lunch!

I will paint them and remove them from the stretchers, and then do it again. Returning to New Orleans with a stack of flat paintings (hopefully!) that I will then re-stretch when I get back to my studio.
